After 25 years manufacturing uPVC windows and doors, Patrick Tighe took the decision to start a new business venture, Eco-Thermal Design Limited. Supplying and installing high quality locally manufactured uPVC windows, doors and composite doors.

A stunning new factory showroom as just opened at their manufacturing facility in Barnsley giving the discerning customer the chance to see their future products in situation and, for those that want, to go down and see their products been made!
Eco-Thermal Design provide Kommerling uPVC windows and doors fitted with Planitherm glass units (the ones advertised on TV by Pam and Fern) giving industry leading u-values and energy ratings, keeping your house warm and energy efficient.
They also provide a stunning range of external composite doors using Solidor, solid-core timber slabs covered with uPVC composite skins, fitted into Kommerling frames. These provide a perfect match to the windows, something other companies cannot always achieve.
With a team of experienced tradesmen at his disposal, Patrick has also expanded into conservatories, orangeries and extensions.
These utilise the Kommerling and Solidor products along with Ultraframe, K2 and the recent addition, Guardian solid roof which can be retro fitted to existing conservatory frames giving a finished tiled appearance.
He can also provide Schuco Bi-folding or sliding aluminium doors. These can be powder coated to any colour in the RAL palette to suit any style of house and are proving ever popular in extensions and conservatories.
